The Bernoulli tube apparatus is a device designed to demonstrate the Bernoulli Principle, which states that an increase in the speed of a fluid occurs simultaneously with a decrease in pressure.

The apparatus typically consists of a horizontal tube with varying diameters at different sections. As fluid (usually air or water) flows through the tube, the velocity increases when it passes through the narrower sections, causing a drop in pressure at these points. The wider sections exhibit lower fluid velocity and higher pressure.

Pressure gauges or manometers are attached at different points along the tube to measure and display the pressure differences, visually confirming the relationship between fluid speed and pressure as described by Bernoulli’s equation.
